Sundridge Parish was created in 1894 making
it one of the oldest parish councils in England. In fact, Sundridge was
first recorded much earlier in the Doomsday book of William the Conqueror.
The parish includes Sundridge and adjacent Ide Hill that nestle in the
Green Belt an area of breath-taking natural beauty. Splendid expenses of
National Trust Woodland, the nearby Weald and the Bough Beech reservoir
complete a picture of Kent countryside at its best. |
